Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026

This policy explains what CodeCompiler (codecompiler.forgesparse.com), operated by ForgeSparse, collects and why.

What we collect

  • Account details — if you sign up: your name, email address and a securely hashed password (we never store your password in plain text). If you use Google sign-in we receive your name, email and Google account ID.
  • Code you save or share — files, program input, title, description, tags and visibility, plus a view count.
  • Messages you send — feedback and contact form messages, delivered to us by email.
  • Usage analytics — we use Google Analytics to understand which pages are used. It sets cookies and collects data such as pages visited, device and approximate location.
  • Technical data — your IP address is used briefly in memory to prevent abuse (rate limiting); it isn't stored with your account.

Services that process your code

  • When you run code in a server-side language, the code and its input are sent to JDoodle to be compiled and executed.
  • When you use the AI Agent, your code (and recent program output) is sent to Google Gemini to generate an answer.
  • PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis and web previews run entirely in your browser — that code is not sent to us when you run it.
  • Emails (password reset, contact replies) are delivered through Resend.

Don't put passwords, API keys or personal data in code you run, share or send to the AI.

Who can see your saved code

Private code is visible only to you. Public code and every shared link can be opened by anyone who has the link.

Your choices

  • Delete any saved code from your account at any time.
  • Delete your whole account there too — this permanently removes your account and all saved code.
  • Block analytics cookies with your browser settings or an extension.
